Woot! Damien Leith is YOUR Australian Idol (for those who care)

A big congratumalations for Damien Leith for clinching the title of this year's Australian Idol. While the game was a close call, voters did well and chose who they thought was most deserving.


Althought Jessica Mauboy is a heap of talent, I'm sure she'll get a contract sooner or later.

And hopefully with the new format of letting the singer take however long they like to record an album, it'll work out unlike Casey Donovan this time round.

I reckon his version of 'Night of My Life' is great and surprise surprise, it'll be number one in the next week or so.

Yay!

And congrats to the 30% of people who bet their money on him. Bad luck for the 70% who bet on Jessica.

I couldn't decide who I wanted to win, they're both great human beings with fantastic talent! It's always a tough call because the runner up generally has a better chance of making it and more importantly, on their own terms!

That's true but Jessica has ages to break it. No doubt she'll come up with something during the summer!
