AimzsterTyra Banks leaving Next Top Model?

Rumour has it that Tyra Banks is preparing to catwalk out of the judging panel and hanging up her responsibilities as the host of America’s Next Top Model, a role she’s filled in the past 10 years, with a search for a new host on the way.
The decision is apparently due to her feud with creative director of all ANTM’s photo shoots, Jay Manuel. It seems the two haven’t been on speaking terms for a while and rely on notes to communicate. Another possible contribution is that Banks is putting more of her time and effort into her self-titled show, The Tyra Banks Show, and doesn’t have as much energy to play judge and mother-hen to 13 or so bickering hopefuls.
Ok, at the beginning, Tyra irked me – her occasionally dropping what she did in a previous photo shoot in conversations, her attempts to be zanily outrageously funny while earning a grimace from the luscious Nigel Barker, her staged tear-squeezing moment while surreptitiously looking at the camera, and who could forget her manic tirade at an eliminated contestant in Cycle 4? But seriously, the girl has grown on me and a Next Top Model without Tyra Banks is like Jay Manuel without the platinum hair. But Tyra’s spokesperson is denying the rumours so I’m crossing my fingers…
