Most of the Australian Idol Top 7 have guitar skillz

So, wasn't Idol last night a bit strange. Well I found it strange. Sure, it was guitar night and Little Lisa Mitchell was so excited she could burst on stage cos she was reunited with her guitar. How cute. Not really, I didn't find this week very entertaining cos all bar 2 people had a guitars which meant they were sitting in one spot strumming and singing at the same time.
My other gripe is the unfair advantage they had. Yeah, they were sitting in one spot (except for Dean who thought it was cool to throw away his guitar to make it a little more entertaining) so it wasn't what you call 'entertaining'. But for Jessica and Ricky who didn't have guitar skillz and were relegated to sing songs that suited their style left them at a bit of a disadvantage.
While I love Jessica for her strong voice, singing another Brandy song isn't branching out of her comfort zone very much. She should be singing powerful songs that could've earned her another Touchdown last night because it was her choice of song.
Damien also recovered well from last week's highly laughable disco theme. Creepy and cool, I hope he makes it through tonight.
And for my dislike of Sideshow Bob in the competition, I was left staring at the screen in horror as per usual, and I agree with Mark, it wasn't up to scratch. But since the competition needs a weirdo, I'm sure viewers will vote him through.
The Virginal Dean had a pretty cool set for his song, I'm sure being guitar night he would've been drooling as much as every teenage girl in the audience. He's the typical boy-bander with a guitar which supposedly equals talent these days. So much for fresh and innovative Idol this year.
Poor Ricky 'Crazy Eyes' Muscat being embarassed being the last performer of the night. I thought he did an alright job but seeing that he had no guitar skillz it'll put him in the bottom 3.
Oh and I didn't pay attention to Chris Murphy.
My picks for the bottom 3...Damien, Ricky and Chris. Only cos everyone will be voting for Dean and Sideshow Bob. And we need to have a guy to go cos the women are declining
