The Hills, BB and that new TV show! It's a Field Day!

Oh I think I’m gonna blog vomit.
First things first! The Hills. Well I’ve finally found a site where I can view the episodes – it’s been a long favourite site of mine but updates have been lagging because the previous host had lost interest in the show. Well now there’s a brand-spanking new host and she’s done a few brilliant changes to site and added the video download function for us who are deprived of the show to actually be able to watch it! YAY!!! Shameless plug time…the site is http://lagunahookup.blogspot.com
Back on topic, the show seems to have taken a great climax. What’s her face and what’s his name have broken up! Yes they are that insignificant that I didn’t even mention their names! The show is centred so much on LC that these randoms’ break up scene lasted for only 3 minutes!
If you haven’t racked your brains enough by now I was talking about Heidi and her other half, Jordan (who?). Shows how reality TV shows reflect life – break ups are emotional and hard to deal with but somehow in the real world you can deal with it in 3 minutes.
Next up is BB. Gosh, Channel 10 what are you doing??? This whole marketing ploy that we were supposedly fooled by was just a farce! What happened to mean Big Brother? What a load of bull! Like we were gonna fall for that prank that the money cannot be reclaimed and what the housemates had left was the prize. Well tonight the housemates are gonna try and claim any money back. But that’s just stupid. It’s an easy way out. Bloody hell BB – don’t you think it’s wise to SAVE money by not giving it away? Don’t you think you’ve made enough money by the product placement in tonight’s episode with the dominoes task and shamelessly asked Jamie to film it? THINK, BB, THINK!!!
Oh and not to mention tonight was the premiere episode of watching Stephanie McIntosh sing her first single over and over and over and not to mention OVER again. Channel 10 really needs to find other ways to get ratings and exposure for manufactured TV and music ‘stars’. And by making an Ashlee Simpson-style TV show before Neighbours and overplaying the same chorus repeatedly is surely going to turn people off. It sure turned me off. For some stupid reason, the same TVC was shown twice before Neighbours started, reminding us to pre-order Stephanie’s single. Right. By the amount of air time you’re giving it, we might as well tape it, and use nifty music editing software and merge it into one single so that we save $4.99 buying the stupid thing (or $1.99 online if you’re smart or can’t be bothered to sit and edit music).
Maybe Channel 10 should employ me and we’ll make the station number one by not bombarding viewers with this idiotic type of marketing that no one is going to fall for.
