The Apprentice

We are so behind in the land of Oz. For the first time last night I watched The Apprentice. At 11.30pm on a Sunday night. Now, I usuallly work on a Monday but that has since been on hold for uni stuff but still, 11.30pm is a little harsh for us students who are deprived of sleep around this time of year.
If anyone bothers to check the site, it's obvious who won, but loyal readers, I'm not gonna blow it for you if you watch the show.
It's also good timing that I chose to watch it last night because they had to write a jingle for one of those million fash food franchises they got going in what seems to be only existant in New York. Arby's I think was the name and they sold sandwiches or something like that. I was sitting on the edge of my seat (okay I was lying in my bed) watching how people think and work together as a team.
I'm hell excited about watching it last night cos I made it through to the Top 44 of a competition in Queensland called 'Business Icon' and basically it's a mash up of The Apprentice, Survivor, Australian Idol (without the singing), and possibly Dancing with the Stars (without the dancing). So I was watching Trump work his magic and try and be like him without the bad hairstyle and the pout.
Anyways, this team is more fierce than the rest, they seems wiser and driven and the guy that got eliminated, well he just got a big head didn't he? You just want to reach in and slap him if you could, but what stops short of doing so is the fact that it's only TV and we haven't reached that far with technology. And the fact that it's already been broadcast in the US. Sigh. Why oh why Eddie did you HAVE to leave a good show so late on a completely RANDOM day?
I must say though the 'advisers' are tough nuts to crack. Bill Rancic from series 1 thinks he's top shit now that he's an adviser. Whatever. I think he looks like a tool, and I'm surprised that Carolyn is still there - I thought she was fired for exploiting her talents and making money out of it? Same with Robyn, I thought she was fired too for exploiting her talents and making money out of it?
Who bloody knows. But overall, a good show if you're a budding entrepreneur or want a few tips on how to be Donald Trump without the bad orange hair.
