My Super Sweet 16 with Cher
January 16th 2007 12:09
Alright, I know I've been slack and haven't been blogging much but I just watched my very first episode of My Super Sweet 16 and I'm fucking horrified at how fucked up society is!
I don't understand why some people would want to glorify wealth and spoilt brats all in the same episode. Of course, in the name of entertainment MTV would do that.
The episode I watched out of curiousty was based on a girl called Cher from Florida. I find it strange her theme of the night was Mardi Gras even though there were no token gay boys carrying her on her chair, nor were the magicians gay, or celebrated same sex marriages or anything of the like. SHE JUST WANTED A GAY THEMED PARTY. But of course any teenager wouldn't have cared what theme it was as long as they were invited to a party for by the parents for a girl who has no idea what the value of money is.
I cringed watching at how she made crazy demands on how she wanted to enter the party and be presented to the crowd, the dance routine was just deplorable (everyone was shocked to see her show crack but they still loved her anyway cos they were there to see it) and the second dress she wore on the night made her look like a hooker. I sensed Cher's mum (note: MUM not Mom) was the token beauty queen mum. She loved everything her daughter did and wore and that was kinda scary. If my mum saw me wearing that revealing dress she wouldn't let me leave the house!
I hated watching it all, but I had to cure my curiousity for the show. Kids these days don't appreciated what they already have and think that by buying a $96 000 Jaguar will complete them.
Who the fuck gets a near 6-figure amount car?? Spoilt rich kids endorsed by MTV of course. I bet MTV paid for some of it just so she can act superior around her peers (and nearly killing them too for unsafe driving).
(Excuse the swearing, it enraged me that much.)

Its fun to see 20 million dollar yachts that any of us would be throbbing to own. Its fun to look at all of these things. I mean, would we watch a show that was all about the things that poor people own? "And over here we have the most important thing in a poor home; the leaky faucets. Amazing isn't it?" Nobody would watch that.
If you don't like the way that America has a capitalist economy in which people can become obscenely rich, go move to Nigeria or somewhere that doesnt have money. Because we all know, nice cars and money are horrid things, nobody wants them. And that last sentence was sarcasm, if you were too slow to get that.

I actually liked.
I thought it was one of the least spoiled girls.
Just because she had money, and she was getting what she wanted, she wasn't a brat, or mean, or bitchy.
On the other hand,
another episode that i saw, made me want to punch the girl in the face. I forget what her name is but it was on the current season. She got angry because she got an EXPENSIVE car but she didn't get it on the day of her party. What the hell is that? You're gonna yell & scream at your mom for buying you the car that you wanted? "OMG MOM! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! YOU BOUGHT ME A CAR!" Most kids would be THANKFUL for at least getting a car. Who the hell cares if you didn't get it at your party? It's still a car, and you made a BIG fool out of yourself on TV! & getting mad because you didn't like the dress and you thought you were fat? Come on kids! LETS USE YOUR HEADS HERE. You're a fucking size 0! I would kill to have a body like that. BE HAPPY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE, damnit.
Anyway, i know i went on rambling about that episode. But if you really hated Cher's episode, you should watch the one i just explained. It will ruin your life. Stupid spoiled rich girl. Whatever the hell your name is.
Okay so I liked Cher's episode. But I didn't like THE ONE I EXPLAINED!

Her name is Audrey and she was having a Quince.
Wich is a sweet 16 in mexico but ur turning 15.
I googled it, and this is what I found:
"Audrey starts to prepare for her Quince by giving out invitations and hiring a band. When her custom-made dresses arrive Audrey hates them and fights with her mom over getting new ones."
"Audrey is overly critical of her royal court during their dress fittings. And Audrey clashes with her mother some more when they go shopping for Audrey's first car."
"On Audrey's birthday her mom surprises her with a brand new Lexus convertible but Audrey loses it and calls off the party because she wanted to get the car at her party."
Copy & paste this link & watch these horrid videos.
Really Long Link
Trust me, after you watch this one, you will love Cher's.

Who probably have TWICE the money the other sweet 16'ers have were the nicest ones.
What did Cher do when she got her 96k jag? Ran over and thanked her parents. What does EVERYONE ELSE do when they see their car? Jump inside & don't give their parents a second thought.
Same goes for Lacey. She pretty much broke down & cried tears of joy when she got into her Range Rover.
The WORST Sweet 16'ners were... Audrey, Ava, Meleny, Those indian girls, & Yashika or whatever the fuck her stupid name is.
