So anyone in Australia who has watched ‘Laguna Beach’ on Foxtel would know that Lauren Conrad (aka LC) has her own spin-off show called ‘The Hills’. Okay, maybe some who are hardcore fans like me who jump on MTV to read up on it - cos I had serious withdrawals when season 2 of Laguna finished.

This new show is supposedly far from the trials and tribulations LC went through after 2 seasons of Laguna Beach. Although I was watching it like a junkie (before the person who uploaded the video was silly enough to violate copyright by ripping previous seasons of LB and posting them on You Tube), I found the trials and tribulations to be exactly like Laguna. Only it was in the Hollywood Hills and has more ‘grown up’ issues. That Lauren and her good-looking rich friends are faced.

And just like LB, it’s heavily scripted. Well, the second season of LB was cos MTV got smarter and forced words in the kids’ mouths to get what they wanted from them. The Hills is no exception. It’s filmed on designated days and every week we watch Lauren suffer through the toils of working as in intern at Teen Vogue and going to FIDM (some fashion design school) – and don’t forget her cheating ex, Jason, comes back to visit while she also maintains a Hollywood social life/make red carpet appearances/catch random plane flights to deliver a dress to someone who doesn’t appreciate her doing so/play mum to her deranged housemate/and saving the world.

Okay I made up a few things. But this girl seems to do everything thanks to the kitty mummy and daddy left for her before she left for Hollywood, oh wait…The Hills.

If you watched Laguna Beach you’d know how ridiculously rich her family is. So anything she’s said about making her own money and not receiving any support is absolute bull. She’s shimmying around the streets of LA wearing designer clothing left right and centre! Why, I earn a student wage and I can also afford a Marc Jacobs dress and still have some spare change for a Chanel quilted bag as well! Yes. This is real…

It’s not on Aussie screens just yet but you can check the website out here

I’ve only seen the first and second episode so random updates about this show is going to be very limited.

i love the hills. it's my favorite show. Lauren is definately my favorite on the show. lol. Audrina is really dumb..no offense but she acts like shes stupid. hah.

The hills is fun to watch and you are always waiting for the next show to see wich kind of drama is next. Boyfriend, Best Friend, parties, Jobs, or Bitchy girls. its entertaining and the new OC. i used to think Hidi was a bitch but shes pretty cool after like the 5th episode i follow it evry week! i love the Hills!!! Theres always somthing happy ort funny and you seem to know stars alot more from reality shows. ohh yea and Jason is now an ass hole and Audrina is rele stupid! hah

i effing love the hills. the girls are so hot. at times i can relate to whats going on in there life on the show. audrina is my fav, shes a total cutey and the only brunette. holla!

Your text goes hereYour text goes here I LOVE THE HILLS!!!..i would die to meet anyone off of it, jason is a total freakin hottie...its horrible hedi and jordan broke up they were so cute..but i felt so sorry for him!!..it was so sad i have seen every episode there is it is so exciting and fun i cant wait to see the next episode..and im glad lauren picked to stay here with jason instead of goin to paris if so i think it would have been over fo sho, but i hope everything works out with them!..i wish this show could go on forever!..Love -lindsey

this goes to audrina...i just think you did such a good job by talking everything out with heidi just because that shows that you are really truely mature. and being able to see it from the television point of view,usually you can tell if the person is lying, but you didnt. i also want you to kno that i am going to get my hair cut in like 1 week and i am getting my hair cut just like yours, you are my idol and you are b-e-a-utiful!!!! i hope that i grow up just as gorgeous and heart warming as you. and remember that if heidi doesnt listen to you over this whole spencer situation thing and ends up getting hurt then its not your fault and you shouldnt feel guilty. just keep telling her that she is better than that and she deserves better. alot better, he is just a jerk and like i said being able to see everything from the television point of view gives you a better recap on everything....

the hills is one of the best shows that i think i have ever seen. it's so easily to relate to and sometimes i find myself smiling in the happy scenes and i believe that i cried more than once on the second season. i love how lauren deals with her drama and it's not like all of the other reality shows where the girls are insane. lauren is my favorite and so is audrina, i also like whitney, but shes seems very laidback compared to others.

I LOVE THE HILLS.
BUT I HATE HOW HEIDI LEFT LAUREN FOR SPENCER.
THAT WAS SO WRONG OF HER.
&& I LOVE AUDRINA & ALL,
BUT EW.
THAT JUSTIN BOBBY GUY IS NOT ATTRACTIVE AT ALL.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SHE SEES IN HIM, LOL.

Your text goes hereYour text goes hereSo pretty much heidi and spencer are really rediculous, brady is hot and so is lauren, i dont think audriana is stupid she just needs to stay away from guys that treat her badly. basically i like this show but the only reason why people watch it is because they wish they lived the fab life just like them, stop stting on the couch watching TV and go do something about it. Start your own reality show...like me =)
