Laguna Beach Season 4 coming soon

Well Laguna Beach is back for another season. Season 4. With the same cast going into their final year of high school.

Is everyone a little repulsed by this?

Avid readers who follow this blog would know that as much as I abhor the behaviour of the cast members I still can't tear away from the show.

But Team Kyndra and Cami would be happy to hear that Tessa is no longer a cast member because she moved to San Clements and will attend the local high school. And because she isn't living in the vicinity of Laguna Beach she can't be in the show and be a part of the incestuous drama that's within MTV standards.


As much as I don't want to watch it because of how predictable the show is (Winter Formal, Cabo, Prom, Graduation add some drama in between and sharing partners) I JUST CAN'T STOP WATCHING!

Maybe it's the fashion, I'm after. Who the bloody hell knows.

I live by Cameron and Kelan and have not seen them taping yet. I am not sure when they are starting but if there is a season usually they would have started by now. Now it could be that Kelan will not be on because of his going off to college and all but I would think that they were keeping Cameron. I dont know, it has been pretty quiet in Laguna.

i live in laguna also, how random, i personally dont like the show, its really fake. like the filming is completly set up. all theyre parties and everything. they put cameras around a room, and the producers are there to tell them, what they want the kids to talk about and do. its realyy stupid, so just so you all know, the show is like 70 percent fake. and 30 percent real. cause alot of them dont even know eachother! they just live in the same town and are forced to "pretend" like they know eachothers names. no one even talks to brianna! watevers i go to laguna beach high also. and like nobody likes the cast from the show, they make our town look bad and me and my frineds have thrown paper cups and kyndra while filming last year. haha

I was just in Laguna this weekend and I just want to say it's the most beautiful spot in the whole world... it was so sureal to walk around and see all the shops I see in the show all the time. I even ate at Pomodoro, it was amazing. whoever is lucky enough to be born in laguna, better appreaciate it, because its absolutely amazing!

I really wish i could live in laguna. It's so beautiful, but it is obvious that alot of the drama is fake. I really want to meet L.C. though. She is awesome.

like any of you guys live in lagana. lies. all of it. and that one person DIDNT hook up with cameron. because guess what. I live in laguna beach. All of the filming is completely real, and all of them are friends. i know some of the cast through friends. ITS NOT FAKE. everything that goes down on the show is talked about long before it hits MTV..because laguna is full of real drama

well, actually...i work with MTV canada...and steven from season 1&2, aswell as cami and Brianna were on the after show a while back. and all 3 of them said that it is semi staged. Steven even said that he didnt even know Kalan but he was casted. well, he knew him...but had never talked to him before. you cant say its 100% real because no reality shows are. some of it is staged. but the scenario is based on events that actually happen, they just make it so it is more appealing to the public.

i lived in laguna for a year. now im in n.y. but while i was there, i never saw anyone from the cast its not like that so everyone saying that they threw cups and hooked up with people from the show are lying. however i know the drama is real, which is why im glad im out of laguna.

and according to wikipedia mtv announced that there would be a season 4

well .. i agree with several ppl .. the ones that say that they live in laguna and that its fake .. i think they're jealous; but who knows that just my opinion and ive been told that "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most of them stink!" i dont think that season 3 was as good as 1 & 2 .. & I dont think season 4 will be as good either, but I still looove the show! the 1st two seasons were so originial with LC, Kristin, Steven & etc. I think the drama is real .. I don't think its fake. Also, if you guys looove Laguna Beach & LC - you'd love The Hills.

Person from the third comment, I would just like to tell you that I know a hundred percent no a thousand that it is NOT scripted. Cameras are on the cast most of the day and they edit that. If the cameras arent on and something important happens they make the characters redo the scene. The only time that MTV actually told a character to do something was when J-Wahl walked towards Alex M. at the bonfire. PS: I KNOW THAT WHOEVER YOU ARE, YOU DON'T GO TO LBHS, its so obvious that your lying. Oh and when they put up flyers and tables for casting they picked a group of friends or people that had some sort of relationship either hate/love/like. Although some characters didn't really know each other that well...I repeat SOME! They got introduced before the show started...you'll know which characters didn't like Talan and Stephen..but they barely interact, so it doesnt even matter. Basically there is A LOT of editing involved therefore everything looks perfect. MTV ONLY PUTS ON THE SCREEN WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SEE. Like if somebody who is moreso the bad guy then the good guy, says something good about the person they are oppose to...they will take that out because they want DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA.....i know all this for a reason. ps: third comment...ur a big loser for pretending u live in LBHS otherwise your either a very drunk or very high teenager. Oh and Breanna is actually really close to Lexi and her and Raquel really did have a falling out and are friends again - basically she has friends. And it would be nearly impossible for you to throw something at Kyndra during the taping because trust me MTV would have handled that.

oh guys, i am from germany and I can tell all of you that laguna beach is my favorite show i´ve ever seen. by now i have still seen season 1&2 because seaon 3 is coming up on MTV right now.. i think it is so unimportant if the show is fake or not.. i enjoy watching laguna everytime... Can you tell me whats going on with jessica and cameron?? (eehm- i am sorry for my englisch- i know it isn't very well- i've got a 5 in school *lol* but i hope you unserstand my message )

Is it just me or is Cameron really ugly? Why are the girls fighting over him?? Mind you Kyndra is a bit chatty looking herself. All that make-up, orange dip fake tan and fancy clothes can't buy class. Lets hope next season will be a bit better. Those girls (Kirsten, Cami & Kyndra) should have more respect for themselves. Don't they realise how foolish they look on tv. Bring back the nicer characters who actually respect their friends rather than try and break up friendships and steal their best friends girlfriend/boyfriend.

ok...i live in laguna, and have lived here for almost 10 years. the show is a little staged, but what show isnt?

laguna is like every other town. it has drama. i have never met the cast in season3 or 4, i knew Lauren and LO since i graduated with them but they are the sweetest girls ever. laguna really is the best place to just get away or to have fun....you can make it what you want it to be really.

here well well well Im one of th eolder watchers of the show I loved season one and two because the characters were likeable I mean Kristin might not have been the nicest person at times but the reasoning for her being nasty to L.C was validated as Lauren was clearly trying to sabotage Krustins realtoinship with Steven. Now season three well Cami and Kyndra werent likeable very immature and had virtually nop real reason for disliking people. I think its sad we havent seen any shows with updates on Kristins life and what shes doing. Anyway If Cami and Kyndra lived where I live by now some bigger more aggressive girl would have beaten the crapp out of them and tuaght them a lesson not that I advocate violence as a way of resolving issues but with them its warranted. Do you think showing a girl spedning 4 thousand in a store on clothes traches todays teens any real valuable lesson accept if you have the right mom and dad you can have anything. Even Heidi inthe hills and Lauren had to earn their spending money with JOBS.
Please next season no Kyndra and Cami its vomit material

yes there is its all over the net theres 2 stories right noiw floating aorund that thers a season 4 without tessa shot with same characters as season three minus the ones that moved away or that theres a season four shot in new port anyway I would prefer the latter weve seen enough of cabo and the laguna way as its become predicatable also HOW DID ANYONE think cameron was good looking hes a total dog faced horror film reject I'm no oil painting but I wuldnt have dated him and inthe hills spencer is butt ugly the one one so far inany of these shows even remotely good looking for me was Jason and Brody

I'm just happy there is going to be a season 4... but obviously not for a while if they haven't started filiming yet. The best was the second one.. I met Kristin and talked about Laguna with her, and I also got a picture But she is really a nice person and she did say that it was highschool and they were putting on faces for the camera.. that's what TV is all about. Anyways excited for season 4! Also not to dissapointed with Tessa not being there, I mean she was different, to quiet for laguna.. and Kyndra I never knew this but she used to be fat... if you go back on season 2 you'll see her on some of the episodes and shes fat! But wow she looks great now.. what a transformation!

i doubt that it will be shot in newport..because they already had a show, that took place in the same city..

Kyndra and cami are dirty whores and cami is sooooo fat and ugly how do the producers call it a show about hot teens? I liked Rocky though although I didnt leike her boyfreind and thoguht she was mad to go back to him after the way he treated her. As an older viewer it taught me alot of a male facial expressions and whats negative and what to look for when you tell a guy you love them if he replies like he did and has that look alex had Im running a million miles lol

i saw rocky and alex in south coast one time with my friend and they were both on there cell phones totally not paying attention to each other, but they were still a cute couple. i visit laguna a lot and i see the cast just around town, being normal teenagers. i love the show and the cast, i dont think its scripted. everyschool/ friends has drama. granted i think MTV may play it up a little, but its still a good reality tv show. cant wait for season for

i live VERY close to Laguna and from just living my everyday life, ive ran into alot of those kids quite often. Just like celebs in LA, unless theyre filming or trying to get attention, they dont walk around town freely anymore (tourism has gotten to an extreme since the show). As far as the drama goes, yea im sure some of it is fueld by MTV but we're quite the dramatic people down here.. it's ridiculous. Im not sure if it was ever talked about on the show but kyndra and stephen had a "thing" about 2 years ago, which i overheard cami and candice talking about. Lime a lot of the shows portray, south orange county is TOTALLY different from anyother place, which explains the attention from the media. Well I had about 15 mins to kill, so there you are, enjoy.

well this is so funny who knows if the drama is real or who actually knows eachother?? well i am from texas and ever since i saw the show i wanted to visit i was actually in laguna june 2nd there is actually a lot of tourism but its so pretty!! dosent look like in the show i went to surf and sport where stephen worked and i meet a local famous surfer from laguna that works there!! second reef is a couple of stores away thats where lauren works i also got to take a picture of lcs house and i even got pics of pamodoro and rubys autodinner even a pic os surf and sad where the black and white paty took place well who knows if the show is reall all i can say its a beautiful town!!

I still remember the day mtv came to Laguna Beach HS on January 18, 2004 then they set us down and told us the lowdown on what they were looking for i was so surreal i wish my friends would of got picked but we were no where close they wanted to look for some drama i knew i little about Kristin just because everyone new she was the new girl in town but thats pretty much it i crossed paths once with LC but that was in like sophmore year which was like a year before they started taping now they are like celebrities it is so weird anyway i graduated in 05 from LBHS -peace-

just read that season 4 is a combinations from the ppl from season 4 and ppl livng in Newport beach ... since the ratings had been so far down on MTV due to the lack of interest of season 3, they have decided to take the show to a new location in attempt to attract a new audience

Personally i believe season 3 sucked and that moving to a new town will do nothing for the show. As soon as all of the originals from season 1 & 2 left the show many people lost all interest in the show. For season 3 MTV should have kept 3 or 4 of the charecters from season 2 or even 1 like they did with LC, Stephen, LO, during season 2 to keep the viewers updated on the college lives

On May 22, 2007, MTVreaityblog confirmed that MTV has cancelled the continued filming of Laguna Beach's third season cast and that a whole new cast will be filmed in Newport Beach[7], a neighboring beach town made popular by FOX's The O.C.. The show will drop the respective title and likely entitle the new program as Newport Beach. It has been noted that the switch was made due to the ratings dip during Season 3 because of the casting overhaul.

okay so yeah laguna beach is pretty much the best show ever! and it is totally real! i was a freshman at LB high school when kyndra, cami and cameron and all them graduated. and yes tessa did move to san clemente jade..you might have seen her on a couple episodes, (tessa and raquel's best friend) is my sister! we just recently moved to san diego actually, where kelan currently goes to SDSU, while still trying to manage being with open air stereo!

Hey i waas browsing online and wanted to say hello as i am Kyndra from the show, thanks for calling my sister a whoare...real unessary but whatever! Me and Cami are still friends but not as close and we did know Tessa and Rocky but never really spoke to them so it was staged to close the gap between our friendships and thats the same for all of the series!

hey all......im going to admitt this now....im a guy and my gf has got me hooked on this show! lol....the show reminds me alot about my friends and i, my relationship with my gf and the drama that occurs etc..but i think whats most important about this show is the friendships and seeing who u can really trust in life. who ever makes comments on here about not liking the show thats ur opinion but what gets me is that uve just wasted about 5mins of ur lives by typing something negative about the show when in reality u should be excersing or doing something else with ur time! im excited to see the new season and i wish nothing but the best for the cast! take care! peace
