It Takes a Few Thousand to Take Two to the Top!

So who is over ‘It Takes Two’? Does anyone even realise the show EXISTS?
I never knew Channel 7 could produce such riveting television on a Sunday night! I usually see that timeslot for that channel to watch documentaries or those stupid blooper shows when you got nothing else to watch on Channel 9 or 10.
I’ve never bothered to watch ‘It Takes Two’ cos I keep forgetting, it’s already painful enough to watch people who have never warbled a song in public doing it on national TV. It’s far worse than Idol! But at least we have SOME talent on Idol and the bad ones are sifted out before they can put their mugs on national television. These ‘celebrities’ that go on ITT to sing with other singing ‘celebrities’ must think they can resurrect their C-grade career (hey I’m being nice I was gonna choose D-grade) by going on a show that nobody watches?
Okay that sounds kinda biased because there are many of you who do care about the show and know that it exists and watch it like there’s no tomorrow. But still, aren’t these talentless shows a pre-requisite to be on bigger and better things? These shows (including Dancing with the Stars and similar ones) are a haven for forgotten celebrities who need some sort of income to keep their lagging careers afloat. Who remembers a story about Jade McRae who was penniless until she scored a mentor job on ‘It Takes Two’?
Even if I do remember that the show is on (but I prefer Big Brother on Sundays) I wouldn’t want to see people shredding good songs that I grew up listening to. It’s not entertaining, nor would it put me in a good mood.
I declare I will unknowingly (or knowingly) boycott Singing with the Stars – I mean ‘It Takes Two’…until it’s down to the final two. At least we’ll know the songs they sing then won’t sound like nails on a chalkboard…to a certain extent.
