David Tench Entertains Tonight
August 24th 2006 13:00
Alright, tonight was episode two of David Tench Tonight. While in my last blog about the show I slammed it for being uninteresting as such, tonight’s show actually improved by a smidgen.
I think it really has to do with the people who are guests on the show because Nelly Furtado’s guest spot was actually entertaining. And it does help if the guest is into the show as well.
But for David…he needs to link his questions and answers together with the guest. He’s still trying to find that one liner to market next week’s show – like the one about Lleyton being a knob. We all knew that, but David had to say it.
Nick Lachey’s segment was alright. And David was sure being cheeky mentioning the ex-wife because people are usually banned from asking questions about his and Jess’s personal life. But another reason why I’m Team Lachey – Nick took it with good humour. I think he looked a little uncomfortable in some parts of his segment though.
All in all it was an actual decent show. David needs to stop doing that moment where he leans into the camera and gives us his sub-conscious thoughts. It’s kinda scary. And for the last word on his show…leave that for Jerry Springer. It was HIS thing.
Give us your thoughts on episode two below…
