Australia’s Got Talent?? No way! I didn’t realise! But it’s not just Idol talent. We’re talking a mixed bag of talent. If you haven’t seen snippets of the America’s Got Talent show you can view a good side to the show, and the not so good side to the show.
As much as I think of this show as a good way to exploit useless talent from our citizens (and Channel 7’s tendencies to produce such bad reality television), it will also be a bad way to exploit useless talent from our citizens.
I don’t see the point of people with ‘talent’ to humiliate themselves on TV. What do they wish to gain from this? To walk down the street and have random people pointing at you saying ‘hey are you that person who can dribble out to 10 feet away?’ It’s like Red Faces but glammed up and devoting a good hour to watching. Red Faces was good when it was no frills and had 3 acts a week. This new show? No thanks…
